  General Manager  
  1. Liaison with the Corporate Office, youth and adult hockey programs, including active participation in meeting, procedures and policies.
2. Oversee and implement local "grass roots" marketing and administers advertising budget and promotions requests.
3. Oversee all personnel matters, including employee hiring, training, counseling, evaluations and discipline. Liaison with Corporate Office on personnel matters. Maintain duplicate personnel file - original file to be maintained at corporate.
4. Conduct weekly staff meetings and quarterly safety meetings with all employees.
6. Monitors all Iceoplex programs including the development of new programs and modification of existing programs.
7. Oversees pro shop and food concession relationship with the facility and ensures quality control.
8. Schedules ice times including cuts.
9. Books private ice time.
10. Handles daily tallies and corresponding funds received. Responsible for all cash management, bank deposits and liaison with Corp. Accounting Office.
11. Plans and schedules special events including camps, competitions and tournaments.
12. Participates in local community to promote the facility.
13. Keeps informed of all activities within the facility and Iceoplex generally
14. Reports to Corporate Director of Operations.
15. Professional hockey experience a plus.
 
     

 

Skating Director

 
  1. Handles all skating school matters including registration, class scheduling, flyers and pros etc.
2. Handles all personnel matters pertaining to "pro" staff including hiring, training evaluations and terminations. Coordinate with General Manager on all related personnel matters.
3. Conducts pro's meetings periodically or as needed.
4. Handles all billing for skating school programs. Responsible to Corp. Accounting office for all billing and collection of fees.
5. Handles pro commissions and pro fees. Responsible to Corp. Accounting office for all commissions and fees.
6. Handles or co-handles group sales including park & rec., schools, churches, etc.
7. Oversees all birthday parties including acting as a liaison with the food concession.
8. Organizes two annual in house skating shows and two annual skating competitions.
9. Reports directly to the General Manager .
 
     
 

Hockey Director

 
  1. Has playing experience at the professional hockey level.
2. Oversees the youth and adult hockey programs.
3. Responsible for Personnel of all support staff including assistants, scorekeepers etc. including hiring, evaluations, counseling, discipline, terminations, etc. as warranted. Liaison with General Manager on all related personnel matters.
4. Plans and chairs seasonal Team Rep and Coaches meetings.
5. Organizes and administers "learn to play hockey" and "placement" clinics to include being an active instructor.
6. Appoints and coordinates with Head Referee.
7. Works directly with the General Manager in scheduling all hockey activities.
8. Ensures team rosters are properly filled for each season.
9. Ensures all players are properly registered and insured.
10. Administers the collection of all hockey dues and fees.
11. Responsible to General Manager and Corp Accounting office on all fees and dues collected.
 
     
  Supervisor Accepting  

 

1. Manages and supervises work staff. Works with General Manager on personnel issues.
2. Manages and administers work shift.
3. Participates in employee selection process and makes recommendations on hiring.
4. Monitors and reports accidents or incidents.
5. Maintain operating order and general cleanliness offacility.
6. Maintain ice (includes operating ice resurfacer and edger.)
7. Responsible for overseeing crowd control.
